Many people fail before they even get started and it's all because of the excuses they make in their heads.
It doesn't happen initially. Usually when they hit a roadblock.
Let's address some of these excuses.
Let's address some of the concerns that people have with choosing a business idea/niche/whatever.
Will It Make Money?
I will expand on this one further down but it's a good question. The easiest way to know if it will make you money is to look and see if other people are making money in the niche.
If they can, why can't you?
You Are Not an Expert
If we're being honest, there are not many experts in the world. To become an expert at anything it takes a lot of work and focus and very few people want to do either.
To succeed at online business you don't need to start off as an expert. You simply need to know one thing more than the people that are coming to you. As you grow you need to keep on learning new things so you remain one step ahead.
Have you ever wondered why so many people get to proclaim themselves as blogging experts?
It's because they started a blog which is one step more than the people who are thinking about starting a blog.
If you want to continue to grow your business then you should become really, really good at two things.
One of those things should be communication, either written, verbal or both. If you can't communicate effectively then you're going to have a hard time making money.
The second thing you should become really good at is whatever you want. By really good I mean considered to be in the top 20% in the world. When you reach those levels then almost everyone that crosses your path is going to listen to you.
But you don't need to start in the top 20%.
You simply have to know that you are trying to get there and then actually put in the work to get there.
The Niche Is Saturated
This is probably the worst excuse to make because there are over 7 billion people in the world. When I think of saturated I think of brands that every single person on this planet knows about.
In whatever niche you choose, there are going to be new people entering your potential audience daily. Why can't your site be the first site they come across?
Things only seem saturated to you because you live the niche, your audience doesn't.
Everything has Already Been Said
We are getting to the point where the excuses are only coming up because you have doubts.
This line of thinking is similar to believing you shouldn't write a screenplay because every story has been told.
Maybe it has, but has it been told from your worldview?
It has not, so you should probably write that screenplay.
Nobody Is Forcing You
Here's the thing...
NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO DO THIS.
When people come to me with concerns and excuses, I try my best to help them but really in the back of my mind I'm thinking "you can quit any time and if you don't want to quit then why are you wasting time on these excuses?"
There is some part of you that wants to do this. There is some part of you that believes you can do this.
Let that part speak and let the part that comes up with excuses sit in the corner.
With that out of the way let's talk about your audience and worldviews.
